Job Description

Offering a friendly working environment, a competitive salary and an engaging and varied role within a well established company, we have an exciting opportunity for two Bowl Feeder Fabricators to join our Premier Bowl Feeders team in Lutterworth. About us:The PCE GROUP of companies, comprising of Premier Bowl Feeders, PCE Automation and DB Automation, provide cutting edge automated solutions to global markets, spanning a variety of industry sectors, including Medical/Ocular and Pharmaceutical. Offering customers the complete in-house solution from design to delivery.With over 40 years’ experience in providing bespoke turnkey automation, ranging from stand-alone machines, to fully integrated high throughput cells, we are proud of our staff who make our solutions possible and recognise them as the driving force behind our success.The Role:Based at our Lutterworth site liaising with the Senior Bowl Technician and Design team, you will be expected to manufacture and produce high quality fabrication and welding. You will have previous experience and knowledge, and be confident with the processes involved in bowl feeder manufacturing.You will be working 39 hours per week.Responsibilities of the Bowl Feeder Fabricators:

  • Assembling linear feeding equipment
  • Assembly of bowl feeder drive units
  • Building equipment to completion in accordance with engineering documentation
  • Tig welding and fabrication
  • Handling and forming of sheet steel to a high standard
  • Basic use of manual milling and turning equipment
  • Problem solving during machine build, commissioning and installation
  • Assessing shortages both within projects and on consumable items, and informing other members of shortages
  • Adhering to and correcting short fallings within statutory health and safety regulations and safe working practices
  • Understanding and safe use of industrial factory machinery such as band saw and grinding equipment
  • Communicating to all levels within the business
    • Person Specification - Bowl Feeder Fabricator:
  • Must have previous experience in Bowl feed manufacturing
  • Experienced in tooling and creating completed bowl feeding systems
  • Able to understand engineering drawings
  • Capable of organising and structuring your time in line with other team members
  • Able to work safely in accordance with our health and safety policy and always staying mindful of all current health and safety legislation
  • Able to work to company systems, as documented
  • Must maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment throughout
