Our well established local client is looking for a hard working and dedicated Yard Assistant & Plant Cleaner to join their family run business.The operations team members are highly trained and dedicated to delivering orders in full and on time, everytime. Following the introduction of two new product lines – and general increased demand on their products they are now looking for a reliable, hardworking team player who will take responsibility for Goods In and Out of the yard and Cleaning & Inspections of of the plant.This role includes picking & loading timber and insulation onto trucks from 06:00 – 07:00 and unloading and checking off timber & insulation goods coming into the yard. Along with this, the role includes cleaning and inspecting machines such as diggers and dumpers and making sure they are cleaned and ready to hire as quickly as possible after they come back from a hire.This is a responsible role which requires trust, good communication and hard physical work!Duties & Responsibilities:• 06:00 – 07:00 loading timber & insulation onto our delivery trucks• Goods In – checking off and putting away of timber & insulation and keeping the yard in good order• Picking and preparing timber & insulation orders that are being despatched the following day.• Cleaning, Inspecting and Maintaining Plant such as diggers and dumpers• Keeping the plant yard tidy and in good order• Other daily tasks as requested by the Logisitics Manager.Skills, Experience & Personality:• Competent use of IT – essential • Standard UK Driving License - essential• Forklift License – essential• Confident and proactive, able to take the initiative and resolve issues• Team player who can communicate well and work closely with others• Good face-to-face manner and able to remain professional under pressure.Other Benefits:• Pension contributionsTo apply, please contact Roberta Cunningham at Hales Group Lowestoft on .Hales Group Ltd collects and keeps information from applicants, so that we can monitor our recruitment process, ensure compliance with the Equal Opportunities policy, and when appropriate send you details of future job opportunities.
