Exciting opportunity for an Engineer to get into an expanding company within a growing industry, where you will learn valuable skills on specialist equipment. Do you have Electrical/Electronic fault-finding skills Do you have experience working on electronic equipment such as RADAR, Sonar or communications equipment This well-established company specialises in providing offshore services for the oil, gas and renewable industries. They are entering a new phase of expansion and are looking to out-perform their competition. As a result, they are looking to take on a new WorkshopEngineer that can support the team in the workshop and further afield. The role on offer is incredibly varied; you will be based in the companys workshop, getting involved with the equipment repair, fault-finding and deployment as well as training others in the correct operation of the kit. You will also be getting involved withthe development of new equipment and improvement of existing technology and processes. Occasional travel may be required to carry out work on an offshore basis, though this will be rare. Training will be provided to the right candidate to make you an expert in the industry. The ideal candidate will have experience carrying out hands-on work with electronic equipment in the offshore energy industry.
