Welder / FabricatorLocation: Lowestoft, Suffolk, NR33 7NL.Wage: £10 to £14 per hour for tradesmen depending upon experience.Contract: Full time, night shift (2 - 10am), permanent.About usRound House Limited is an independent family owned and run fabrication company with more than 50 years of engineering experience under our belts. Plus, all materials we use are fully certified to internationally recognised standards and our fully trained team use not only state-of-the-art machinery but some of the best for miles around!Were also approved members of a number of organisations such as FPAL, The Welding Institute, EEF and EEEGR, the not-for-profit organisation committed to the sustained development of the energy industry.About the roleDue to continued growth, we are now recruiting for Welder / Fabricator to join our growing team.The successful applicant will be experienced in a variety of practices and techniques related to welding and have an operational knowledge of manufacturing and welding applying TIG and MIG.A knowledge of operating general metal shop equipment and tools is expected, along with familiarity in executing welding operations compliant with company and industry standards and safety policies.What we need from you• Time served Welder / Fabricator preferred.• Ability to fully read and understand engineering drawings.• Ability to manufacture small precision parts and larger fabrications.• Must be able to work to a very high standard• You will be responsible and accountable for ensuring your output complies with customer quality requirements so experience in self-inspection practices would be advantageous• Experience in welding Stainless, Mild Steel and Aluminium.• Welding experience must include TIG and MIG.We are also looking for machinists capable of lathe and milling machine work.If you feel you have the skills and experience to be successful in this role then apply today!
