Quality and Compliance LeadLowestoftFull Time - Permanent - HybridSalary DOEPurpose of role:Quality and Compliance Lead drives a culture of assured Quality within the business, listens and shares best practice, provides front line support for all customer groups and suppliers. To maintain records and build robust processes to manage a journey builton continuous improvement as part of a bigger Quality team, in addition the role will demand an excellent knowledge and application of both the ISO9001 and 14001 standards and have the ability to translate and deliver both a management of and culture of continuousimprovement, to achieve annual compliance and certification. With audit skills you will join the wider team within the business and drive best practice across the business. The role also demands the support of new product development, MSDS, COSHH documentationcontrol, annual stocktaking, general audit, and essential cover for purchasing role on an internal package (full training will be provided)Main Objectives:

• To maintain and improve the quality and environmental management system in line with ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 14001:2015 and any other future requirements
• To review and update all existing procedures to reflect current working practices.
• To carry out regular internal quality and environmental audits against current working practices, and procedures and to ensure the site complies with all applicable environmental and quality legislation.
• To work with Operational Management team to carry out root cause analysis and ensure that effective corrective and preventive actions and systems are implemented when issues arise and communicated across the business.
• Evaluating and review all incoming customer complaints, Voice of the Customer snippets and returns to ensure all procedures, processes and checks have been carried out correctly and or identify if any failure in those checks and processes has happened.To to liaise with the Operations and Technical Managers on corrective and preventative action.
• Implement a robust QC process to ensure all product groups have been approved internally before release and action any that fail using the correct procedure.
• MSDS and COSHH management
• Manage insurance claims - carriage
• Present sales and inventory reports, manage deliveries and forecast demand.
• Daily inventory and supply chain planning
• NPI and New Product Development and Introduction
• Risk Assessor (IOSH) trained
• Update Carriage calculator maintenance and master spreadsheets
• Review Quality system and implement training
• Create Work order and Manufacturing scheduling
• Technical and compliance and competence
• Dealing with customer enquires, route cause analysis and resolution.
• Inhouse QC controller

Key Responsibilities:

• To ensure site operations comply to ISO9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015. Maintain, review and develop working practices, processes and procedures so as to adhere to the standards and drive continual improvement.
• Update visual boards across the site with performance related data and core messages
• Plan and schedule repair/build requirements, liaise with customers.
• Record and circulate all continuous improvement successes, encourage culture of change.
• Monitor and develop a robust regime of inspection and testing to ensure ZH compliance
• Manage, review and constantly update safety, quality and environmental documentation and records.
• Schedule all site service requirements to ensure all are performed on time (Pat Test, Fire etc)
• Manage and schedule staff training and compliance
• Drive continual improvement through a series of local quality & environmental objectives and targets.
• Carry out and maintain schedule of lead audit internal quality and environmental inspections according to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.
• Improve site quality and environmental awareness and raise the level of customer satisfaction.
• Audit, analyse and report non-conformance/compliance and report accordingly.
• Coordinating the identification, segregation and disposition of non-conforming product, in liaison with operations manager / suppliers / technical and procurement functions.
• To liaise with the Technical team, Management team and Product Manager with the development of new and existing products and processes, to further quality, performance, cost as well as sustainability in terms of H&S and environmental performance in manufactureand application.
