Job Description

Our client, a Marine Operational Support Provider, are currently seeking a Fast Rescue Craft / Marine Engineer to join their team in Lowestoft.This is a full time, 40 hours p/w, permanent position.Working hours:Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30, with a one-hour lunch break.Friday: 07:30 - 14:30, with no lunch break.As the Fast Rescue Craft / Marine Engineer, you will be required to carry out repairs to the fast rescue and Daughter craft onboard the fleet of Emergency Response and Rescue vessels and/or in house repair workshops.

  • Do you have a Marine or General Engineering background/qualification
  • Do you have a good understanding of petrol 2/4 stroke engines or diesel engines
  • Do you have knowledge/experience of 12-volt electrics and/or the marine industry
If so, this could be the role for you!Our client operates a combined fleet of 47 vessels primarily in the North Sea.Duties include (but arent limited to):
  • Ensuring all shipboard repairs are carried out in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
  • Keeping company approved Planned Maintenance records up to date.
  • Providing out-of-hours support, as and when required.
  • Actively promoting and progressing the company QHSE Policies.
