Job Description

Hales Group are recruiting for an experienced HR professional to join our client based in Lowestoft.This is a stand-alone role, continuing to develop the HR department within the business, and will be great for someone bringing a lot experience and relishing the challenge of taking a role and making it their own.Key responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, executing, implementing, and subsequent evaluation of a large change management project across the company
  • Providing first line support to staff, ensuring all staff are dealt with in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Coordinate the on-boarding process for new starters
  • Ensure that all paper and computer-based records and systems are set up, are effectively updated and accurately maintained.
  • Providing HR support and guidance on all elements of HR, inclusive of recruitment, performance management, drafting contracts and policies and procedures
  • Manage employee relations casework such as absence management, discipline, grievance always with sensitivity and fairness
Experience and skills
  • Extensive HR Generalist experience including recruitment and relevant employment law
  • Knowledge of the energy sector advantageous but not essential
  • Experience in change management would be beneficial
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards it
LOCATION: Lowestoft, with occasional business travel with the UK and NetherlandsDURATION: PermanentPAY: Salary is negotiable depending on experienceHOURS: Monday to Friday / Full-TimeBENEFITS: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, cycle-to-work and electric vehicle scheme, private medical and death in service benefit (subject to minimum term of employment).
