Pure Resourcing Solutions are delighted to be working in partnership with our client to appoint a Financial Reporting Manager, a newly created role within the finance function.Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be an integral part of this function as they transition through an exciting period of change. You will have an opportunity to help shape the finance function, add value with process reviews and identifying efficiencies.As well as developing and managing a small team of Finance Business Partners,to ensure the provision of high quality financial management and financial reporting information as well as providing day-to-day expert advice and support. ResponsibilitiesTo oversee and assist in the completion of monthly budget statements analysing trends and variancesThe delivery of a summary of the overall financial position of a division/s or designated area within the organisation,To prepare consolidated financial monthly reportsMonitor, investigate and explain variances from budgets, understanding the key drivers for the financial positionTo line manage Finance Partners, undertaking appraisals, attendance reviews,participate in recruitment activities for the teamThe successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders. Youll champion best practice, look for ways to continuously improve and relish the challenge of working as part ofa close team to drive financial performance.
