Job Description

RoleEngineering Design Manager(Structural Design background preferred)Salaryup to £45,000Location - LowestoftThe company:Leading, bespoke manufacturer of subsea structural protection equipment!The Role:

  • The role objective is to provide full technical solutions and technical design capability for client projects, using bespoke designs structures, standard products and to develop R&D products including relevant and tested procedures for use and to approvedstandards.
  • To manage the Engineering/technical team effectively and efficiently ensuring deadlines are met and work is completed in a timely manner
  • To provide a good level of people management within the companys standards and values to ensure their reportees deliver their roles to optimum effect and have the required coaching to ensure they are performing their role to the highest level.
  • To provide good reporting and written statements and procedures for client and internally
The Person:
  • Previous Design experience of Structural OR Concrete / Steel Structures
  • Previous work within Subsea / Oil & Gas or Renewables
  • Strong people skills with supervisory or management experience
  • Project management experience ie hands on experience in delivery to customer
