Job Description

Electronics Repair role on offer with a large and rapidly growing company that will provide the chance to build a long-term career and training on their specialist equipment that will make you an industry expert. Do you have a hands-on background in Electrical or Electronic Engineering Do you have experience working on radio or communications equipment This well-established company specialises in providing offshore marine surveying services for the oil, gas and wind-turbine industries. They are entering a new phase of expansion and are looking to out-perform the competition by commissioning new surveyingvessels and taking on new, talented individuals. In this role you will be based in the companys workshop in Great Yarmouth, you will be involved in diagnosing, maintaining and repairing RADAR, GPS and communication systems for the companys survey vessels. You will occasionally be required to travel to sitesacross the UK to perform dry-dock work upon vessels (Extra-pay provided). Training will be provided to the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining and installing maritime RADAR and GPS equipment, though this is not essential. The Role * Electronics Workshop Engineer (RADAR/Communications Systems) * Workshop-based * Diagnosing, maintaining and repairing sophisticated RADAR, GPS and communication systems * Occasional UK travel to perform dry-dock work * £30,000-£33,000 + Training + Progression + Private Medical + 30 Days Holiday The Person * Hands-on background in Electrical or Electronic Engineering * Experience working on communications systems * Experience working with marine RADAR and GPS equipment highly desirableThis vacancy is being advertised by Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd.
