Are you a self-motivated and resourceful Dietitian looking to further your experience and knowledge in community dietetics with a caseload of clinic and domiciliary patientsThis may be your exciting opportunity join our small and friendly team working within East Coast Community Healthcare CIC (ECCH).You will have a varied clinical caseload working between clinics, care homes and domiciliary visits within this predominately rural geographic area. This is a chance to make a real difference to the nutrition and wellbeing of the patients and carers, some of whom have life limiting conditions.A passion to work in this very rewarding area of dietetics is vital. We will provide support and training for those with enthusiasm but lack experience in this field. The support can be flexible depending on your learning style and will include continuous learning to improve patients outcomes, clinical supervision and mentoring. There will be the option of further experience at our neighbouring acute trusts. An interest in patient and profession education is important. There will be opportunities to share your knowledge and skill via teaching sessions to other professionals and patient groups with MUST training and pulmonary rehabilitation. You will also provide clinical support /supervision to the teams support staff, pre-registration students and contribute to service development. You would be expected to participate in audit and continuous learning to improve patient outcomes.ECCH is a social enterprise which provides NHS community health services across Norfolk and Suffolk. As a social enterprise, ECCH is owned by its staff and uses any surplus resources for the benefit of communities in Norfolk and Suffolk. As a staff owned organisation it is important to embed and sustain a culture in which all staff feel valued and supported. Our staff helped to create the commitments which we believe set out the standards that we can expect from one another. Essentially these commitments are intended to outline the type of culture we are seeking to promote within ECCH by defining the components; Attitude, Behaviour, Competence, Delivery. We expect all staff to take ownership of these commitments and to demonstrate them in every aspect of their role. The successful candidate will share these commitments. If you are as passionate about high quality care as we are at ECCH, please do not hesitate to apply for this rewarding post.To discuss the role further please or to come and meet the team please contact Lindsay Ferris Home Enteral Feeds/Lead Dietitian
