Chief Executive Officer, Lowestoft, c£120,000 + BensEast Coast Community Healthcare CIC (ECCH) is a forward thinking and dynamic social enterprise providing community health and social care services, predominantly to the people of Great Yarmouth and Waveney, but also more widely in Norfolk and Suffolk. Employing c800 staff, the organisations key vision is to create a sustainable and flexible organisation that continually drives improvement in outcomes for all the people who use its services and an ethos of high quality care, every time. The quality of our services are realised through our staff. As a CIC, ECCH employees are encouraged to become shareholders in the organisation and our Shareholder Council, (comprised of shareholders and employee-elected Staff Directors) ensures staff have a say in how the organisation is shaped and developed. Our two Staff Directors are members of the ECCH Board.Following a successful 5 year tenure, the CEO retires in March 2021 and so the search for his successor begins now, at a crucial time for healthcare, during an unprecedented period of change, both due to the COVID pandemic and as health, social care and public services are increasing collaboration and system working exponentially. ECCH is a key partner organisation in the developing Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care System (ICS) and will lead important new alliances in the local health system. The new CEO must be both visionary and an inspirational leader, capable of advocating and nurturing the essential relationships of a network of system leaders across the local and regional health and social care landscape.The new CEO will use their dynamic, transformational and decisive leadership skills to ensure the organisation is financially resilient and that the organisation solidifies its crucial position within the future local healthcare system and the arena of the ICS.Your commercial insights will help innovate service delivery, diversify income streams and optimise resources - people; finance; technology and assets. You will be a natural networker, keen to collaborate with external stakeholders and to continually build on its existing strong reputation.Our new CEO need not have an NHS background but you must understand the complexities of the health and social care landscape, and have an authentic passion for serving our community.You will need to offer strategic insight and be able to absorb a wide variety of data intelligence to make informed decisions on our future direction of travel.You will inspire - natural dynamism and an engaging presence will rub off on the people around you. Your sense of purpose and commitment to achieving results will give you the gravitas to influence people and policy both inside and outside of ECCH.You will empower and support your Executive Team to deliver exceptional performance and you will report to the Chair ensuring your working relationship is based on trust and transparency.
