Are you a self-motivated and resourceful Dietitian looking to flexibly support a busy community dietetic team and further your experience and knowledge of community dietetics This may be your exciting opportunity become a Bank Community Dietitian, joining our small and friendly team working within East Coast Community Healthcare CIC (ECCH).Your clinical caseload will be varied and could include clinics, community hospital, care homes and domiciliary visits within this predominately rural geographic area. There will be a mixture of face to face contacts and telephone clinics with the potential of video clinics in the future. This is a chance to make a real difference to the nutrition and wellbeing of the patients and carers, many of whom have life limiting conditions. This post is supported by the Home Enteral Feeds/team lead Dietitian and depending on experience, training into the Community Specialism can be given via clinical supervision and mentoring. There will be opportunities to share your knowledge and skills via teaching sessions to other professionals mainly promoting the Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool. You will also provide clinical support /supervision to dietetic assistants, pre-registration students, with appropriate support and training. You may become involved with service development. You would be required to participate in audit and continuous learning to improve patient outcomes.ECCH has been encouraging remote working and the dietetic team is well resourced and supported to work independently out of the office. We are cost conscious, flexible and are paper light.ECCH is a social enterprise which provides NHS community health services across Norfolk and Suffolk. As a social enterprise, ECCH is owned by its staff and uses any surplus resources for the benefit of communities in Norfolk and Suffolk. As a staff owned organisation it is important to embed and sustain a culture in which all staff feel valued and supported. Our staff helped to create the commitments which we believe set out the standards that we can expect from one another. Essentially these commitments are intended to outline the type of culture we are seeking to promote within ECCH by defining the components; Attitude, Behaviour, Competence, Delivery. We expect all staff to take ownership of these commitments and to demonstrate them in every aspect of their role. The successful candidate will share these commitments. If you are as passionate about high quality care as we are at ECCH, please do not hesitate to apply for this rewarding post.To discuss the role further please contact Lindsay Ferris Home Enteral Feeds/Lead Dietitian
