Able to refactor existing code to improve readability. Good understanding of technical and commercial drivers when making decisions on refactoring.• You strive for success, are keen to learn and develop• You have a can-do attitude and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment• You genuinely care about quality; collaboratively work with your team-mates to embed quality wherever possible• You write clear & self-documenting code, organises methods and classes appropriately. Good understanding of technical and commercial drivers when making decisions on refactoring.Day-to-day, you will:• Design and develop software solutions in collaboration with our product, development and content teams by using a range of languages and technologies such as: oC#oASP.Net Core, ASP.NET 4+, ASP.Net MVCoRESToSQLoEntity FrameworkoWeb APIoReactoJavascript, jQuery, Typescript• Build new and improve existing cutting edge SaaS products• Actively contribute to requirements discussions.• Analyse, identify and fix of root cause of defects, throughout the various layers of the application.• Contribute to management of effective CI Pipeline and source control.• Support the teams deliverables, through proactive contribution to planning, ownership of tasks, identification of dependencies and basic risk management• Actively promote a quality focussed approach Your skills and experiences might also include: • Demonstrate a positive approach• Genuine interest in learning/implementing best practices of software development techniques, including specific approaches for SaaS and web based products• Attention to detail• Willing to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment • Able to prioritise a demanding workload• Excellent communication and time management skills• Desire to work with a highly successful team to achieve the deadlines to deliver product releases• Show a commitment to self-development and lifelong learning• Be confident with debugging of web applications• Minimum 2 years of commercial development experience, ideally full-stack• Knowledge of range of languages and technologies such as:oC#oASP.Net Core, ASP.NET 4+, ASP.Net MVCoSQLoEntity FrameworkoWeb APIoHTML, CSS, Javascript, jQueryDesirable:• REACT knowledge/experience• Knowledge of Azure DevOps Continuous Integration & Deployment• Awareness of security best practices in software development.• Azure/Aws experience.What does Access offer youWe are a growing software company, and we deliver on what we say we do!
