About the RoleAs part of our Sales team, you will be responsible for qualifying sales leads, recognise growth opportunities across multiple sectors, prepare quotations through to delivery of sales contracts and long-term account management.You will assess sales leads aligned with our product portfolio and the Company’s strategy, to develop and maximise opportunities in the development of long-term sales growth. You will also support the Commercial Team to identify new market opportunities and support the business in the promotion of our products at relevant conferences and exhibitions.A key part of the role is liaison with our Product Support and Marketing teams on market requirements and voice of the customer feedback.You will ensure all commercial opportunities are captured in our CRM system in a timely and accurate manner.About YouYou will hold a level 3 qualification (A-level, NVQ or equivalent) in a relevant technical subject. A Batchelors degree (or equivalent) in a relevant technical subject would be advantageous.Previous experience in proactive sales campaigns, including some degree of cold calling and monitoring of a sales pipeline using a CRM system is required. Sales experience within a new product field would be advantageous, with technical product sales in an appropriate sector (UAVs, portable power or automotive) being desirable.It is key to us that you have a commercial mindset and the ability to work with a flexible and solutions focused approach, in an agile and fast paced environment. You must also be able to work collaboratively and be an effective verbal and written communicator, with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise.Experience at developing strong relationships with new and existing customers plus the ability to manage the expectations across a wide range of customers including OEM’s and distributors with focus on long term sustainable product sales would be desirable.
