Job Description

We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Officer - (Systems) to join our busy team in Loughborough!Salary: CompetitiveLocation: LoughboroughHours: Monday - Friday:9.00am-5.00pm (You could start between 8:00am09:00am, so long as you work 7.5 hours a day, with some evening and out of hours work, as required)Would you like to work for a company which helps millions of people worldwide to gain access to quality and affordable healthcareQuality Assurance Officer Role:We are looking to recruit an experienced Quality Assurance Officer within our Quality Assurance Systems Team, reporting to the QA Officer: Systems- SupplyQuality Assurance Officer Duties:

  • Completing Supplier and Customer approval and re-approvals according to the documented procedures.
  • Creation, update and amending supplier Risk assessments
  • Support for Falsified Medicines Directive (FMD) serialisation activities including management and maintenance of the system. Including onboarding of new suppliers and Products.
  • Recording and communicating Medical Enquires, Adverse Events and Complaints to the relevant personnel; Investigation & Analysing of complaints and associated trends.
  • Drafting, amending and Maintenance of Technical Agreements in line with appropriate regulations and business needs
  • Adherence and maintenance to all other aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS) including (but not limited to); CAPA, Deviation, Change Control, Documentation Control and Training.
  • Providing support with audit preparation and preparing reports for the QA Manager and Qualified Persons.
Quality Assurance Officer Requirements:
  • Proven industry experience in Quality Assurance within the Pharmaceutical industry;
  • A working knowledge and practical experience with Document Control, Change Controls and Deviations;
  • Relevant degree in a life science discipline;
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills;
  • Good reasoning and a deductive capability;
