Job Description

Our client is looking for a QA Manager (Operations) to join their busy Loughborough office!Salary: CompetitiveWorking Hours: Monday-Friday: 9.00am-5.00pmQA Manager (Operations) Duties:

  • Management of the QA Operations function and resources;
  • Preparing, documenting and filing Change Controls regarding Batch certification activities;
  • Development and preparation of documentation for the Quality Management Systems (QMS);
  • Produce status reports for activities related to batch certification;
  • Liaising with all Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs) and Qualified Persons (QPs) to receive and ensure review is completed for the necessary documentation and related records;
  • Organising EU Import Testing and liaising with the Laboratory accordingly, including ensuring Analytical Method Transfers and Microbial Method transfers are performed satisfactorily;
  • Maintaining Masterfiles (e.g. stability reports, validation reports, etc) for products;
  • Preparation and completion of Supply Chain diagrams and annual product quality reviews for all relevant products.
    • QA Manager (Operations) Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Quality Assurance within the Pharmaceutical industry;
  • Experience managing a large team;
  • A working knowledge and practical experience with Document Controls, Change Controls and Deviations;
  • Relevant degree in a life science discipline;
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills;
  • Good reasoning and a deductive capability;
  • Experience of working with Contract Manufacturing Organisations, importation and batch certification is desirable.
