This position is for a Python Developer to be part of a growing development team. Reporting to the Team Lead, you will be influential in the design and enhancement of our flagship Access Assure products and services within our Health, Support and Care division.Alcuris want to expand their team working within data analytics, this role will be challenging, but hugely rewarding. By using large health, social care and IoT datasets combined with socioeconomic and lifestyle data you will help to build analytical tools,that provide insight and actionable information. The tools will enable our customers to help more individuals and their families, to plan care pathways and reduce the number of admissions to hospital.About you:You are a dynamic, skilled engineer with a passion for technology and a keen sense of pride in the work you do. You are a strong team player who thrives on close collaboration with your colleagues and takes shared ownership of the development pipeline alongwith the team. You are focused on delivering high quality solutions to given times lines and are comfortable in an agile scrum environment. You are constantly seeking to improve both your own skills and the skills of others and enjoy working in a fast paceddynamic company.Technical Requirements: Experience using Python Experience handling large, mixed datasets Experience with the fundamental Python data manipulation libraries (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, etc) Ability to write clean and maintainable code Experience using GitDesirable Skills: An understanding of object-oriented programming Experience with cloud computing platforms (particular AWS) Familiarity with the Boto3 and Joblib Python libraries Experience using Docker Experience of IoT sensor networks in the health informatics sector Experience building and deploying predictive models, including time series models and machine learning techniques Experience with data visualisation tools - we currently use React with amCharts and D3 Confident working in a fast-paced environment with timelinesKey Responsibilities: Liaise with an experienced data scientist to develop and deploy predictive models Build tools to analyse and visualise data sets Supporting on the design of system architecture to enable new features of system improvements Liaising with wider development team to create new features.
