Would you like to work on groundbreaking environmental technology for an established startupOur client are utilising cutting edge research algorithms to detect environmental catastrophe, and create early warning systems to ensure that the effects are limited.You will be reporting in to the lead engineer, but you will also be given the opportunity to work in more senior areas as and when you have the experience to do so (whether that is from day 1, or later on as you have progressed in to the role).As such in addition to coding and testing you will have the opportunity to design the software, as well as working with operations to ensure a reliable and secure production environment. As the team grows you will also be involved in training and mentoring.And from day 1 you will be involved in working with the team on continuous improvement of processes, and implementation of best practices.Our client are well aligned with remote working, with the team distributed across the UK. there is an office space in the Midlands which you may be required to attend on rare occasions, but there are plenty of people who have only been to the office onceor twice in their entire time at the company!Share options are available, on top of a salary of £40k - £50k DOE. Currently the benefits package is fairly slim, as is usual for a startup, but there are plans to create one in early 2023.Required experience:
