Job description Maxi-Low UK LTDAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Operative to join one of the countrys leading lightweight commercial body builders in the UK based in Loughborough (LE11 5SR)Launched in 2012, Maxi-Lows range of vehicles come from several years of extensive research. The finished product is the result of the collaboration of two businessmen, with over 25 years experience in business.Our goal was to bring to the LCV market, a vehicle that would offer low running costs and durability, as well as being functional, look attractive, and hold its value. All whilst maintaining the original vision for the operational benefits and cost savingsthat it will bring to the company.The Role:

  • Constructing light weight commercial bodies using multiple construction techniques with a mixture of pre manufactured and in house manufactured parts.
  • The ability to work with different materials consisting of aluminum, wood, GRP and plastic
  • Meeting customer needs and build specifics whilst keeping to tight deadlines
  • Using various power tools and air tools during the vehicle build process in order to achieve a high standard of construction during assembly
The Candidate:
  • Have the confidence and competency of using a wide range of power tools and air tools
  • Experience within the commercial body building sector - an advantage but not essential
  • Keen eye for details
  • Ability to work as an individual or as part as a team
  • Reliable and conscientious
  • The ability to work quickly and methodically
  • Physically fit
We are offering a starting rate of £10.00 per hour for a probationary period, increasing to £10.50. Thereafter is scope for improvement through our appraisal system to increase to £11.00 per hour.The hours of work are 40 hours per week, 07.30am - 16.00pm including breaks, Monday to Friday, candidate may be required to work overtime to meet the needs of the business. 20 days holiday per year, increasing an extra day per full holiday year to the maximumof 25 days plus 8 days public holidays.We are also running a child care voucher scheme.Application deadline: 9th May 2022Job Types: Full-time, Contract, PermanentSalary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
