Job Description

Job Title: Production EngineerOur client Dermal Diagnostics is hiring a Production Engineer to join their team.Purpose of the Role:Working within the Engineering Team, you will take responsibility for the assembly, integration, set up and maintenance of bespoke production equipment. You will liaise closely with the Manufacturing and Quality departments on all engineering-relatedaspects of production and process development, and. You will be based at our design and manufacturing site in Loughborough 5 days a week.Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Organise and ensure maximum production and equipment efficiency
  • Support design and manufacture of in-house production equipment
  • Develop maintenance schedules and perform maintenance for bespoke production equipment
  • Support production by calibrating and ensuring equipment is fit for use on a daily basis
  • Support production processes by fault-finding and analysis
  • Liaise with Manufacturing/QA giving accurate and detailed information regarding works and repairs
  • Produce documentation to support the qualification of new equipment
Skills & Experience: Required:
  • Excellent problem-solving ability with a hands-on approach
  • Experience working with production lines and equipment
  • Capable of working to tight deadlines
  • Fully competent in Microsoft Office, including Word & Excel
  • Excellent inter-personal skills with experience presenting engineering information to non-technical personnel
  • Bachelors degree or above in Mechanical / Electronic Engineering (or other relevant subject)
  • Willingness to become involved with additional business areas, including Quality Analysis
  • Working knowledge of the IQ/OQ/PQ pipeline
Desirable:
  • Working knowledge of engineering drawings and 3D models
  • Knowledge of rapid prototyping and assembly
  • Experience working in an ISO regulated environment
  • Programming experience, specifically Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and Python
Other InformationSalary: £22,000 - £26,000, depending on experienceContract type: Full-time, permanent
