Job Description

Logistics and Administration Assistant, Full time office based roleUp to £26,000 DOELoughboroughThis is a brand new role due to growth in the business. This client is a global leader in their field and offer multiple services and products. Passionate about people and their abilities and as a SME valuing each and every person that works here. If you don’t drive its not a problem the offices are easily accessible by public transport.Key responsibilities

  • Generate, process and organise purchase orders with suppliers
  • Negotiate competitive pricing with suppliers
  • Entry of all supplier invoices into the company accounting system
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure that all supplier accounts are kept updated
  • Maintain the stock database, carry out stock takes and ordering stock & materials
  • Arrange for logistics and dispatch of shipping items
  • Develop, maintain and keep up to date the company filing system
  • Manage the company databases
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to requests for information via phone and email
  • Work on procurement and tender applications including creation of relevant documentation
  • Assisting with the organisation and management of trade shows exhibitions
  • Carry out logistic requirements including shipping, transport and travel
  • Assist with the printing of merchandise and shipping
  • Experience Required:
  • Experienced office administrator
  • Efficient and well organised with an attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • An understanding of basic bookkeeping
  • Good ability to articulate ideas into words
  • Proficient IT skills in Apple Mac (Numbers, Pages and Keynote) and Microsoft Office
