CK Group are recruiting for a Laboratory Technician to join a leading construction company that supply building materials to the industry, based at their site near Loughborough.The Company:Our client is a leading supplier of aggregates, asphalt, concrete and cement to the construction, trade and highways industries.Location:This position will be located near Loughborough and Leicester with excellent road transport links.Laboratory Technician Role:You will be working Monday to Friday 07.00-17.00.Your main duties will be to:- Perform testing procedures for mainly aggregates and asphalt with some concrete. - Visually inspecting large quantities of asphalt, taking temperatures crushing concrete cubes.Your Background:The ideal candidate for this role will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:• Qualification in Chemistry or related subject. • Ability to communicate findings effectively and maintain accurate records.Apply:Entitlement to work in the UK is essential.
