This role is an incredible opportunity for an experienced administrator looking to get into HR or someonewho is currently studying their Level 3 CIPD and wanting to gain HR experience within the charity sector.The Role:To support the People Team in all aspects of HR across the entire employee lifecycle.The successful Junior HR Advisor will be responsible for but, not limited to: Provide day to day first line advice and support on HR related issues, policies, and procedures as well as general HR support to the line managers, escalating to the HR Advisor and HR Manager where necessary. Serve as the first point of contact for all HR queries, answering and dealing with HR queries over the telephone, email, and face to face. Assist with disciplinary investigations and grievance hearing where required and provide guidance in relation to performance, conduct and absence. Support the HR Advisor in the analysis of sickness absence data, highlighting cases where staff have met trigger points of sickness absence, conduct review meetings and provide updates to the wider people function team. Assist with onboarding new starterscoordinate administartion for new starters, drafting and sending formal offer letters, drafting contracts, maintaining new start systems, inputting the employees data onto the HR system, and collecting employment referencesas well as new starter checks. Assist with off-boarding staff members, acceptance of resignation, return of company property and exit interviews. Support the HR Advisor in all aspects of recruitment, including drafting job descriptions and person specifications, creating inspiring and innovative job adverts, and then managing applications through the applicant tracking system. Optimise all recruitment related material on the companys website to maintain and develop effective recruitment methods to attract the best candidates, creating ongoing interest in what is going on within the company. Assist the HR Manager and HR Advisor in the design and delivery of HR training and induction for employees. Provide pro-active advice, coaching, support and guidance to managers and staff on Equality, diversity and inclusion and well-being. Confidently challenge colleagues to enable Equality, diversity, and inclusion to be embedded across the business. Act as a key influencer and advocate on Equality, diversity, and inclusion issues, supporting communications on Equality, diversity, and inclusion topics, ensuring all language is inclusive. Provide accurate and timely administrative support to all other transactional HR processes. Ensure all HR records are maintained in accordance with the companys policies and legal requirements. Ensure all right to work/immigration, DBS and CQC administration is collected and updated on the HR system. Trouble shoot basic system errors and respond to system related queries. Create and prepare various HR reports using the HR system. Champion all people initiatives and ensure that all HR functions reputation is endorsed and enhanced. Provide ad-hoq support as requested by the People Team where applicable. Ad-hoc travel will be required within this role.The ideal candidate:This role is an incredible opportunity for an experienced administrator looking to get into HR or someone who is currently studying their Level 3 CIPD and wanting to gain HR experience within the charity sector. It would be desirable for the candidate to haveprevious of some HR duties such as recruitment processes, employment law and best practices. However, this company are very open to training all aspects of HR through on the job training/learning opportunities.The ideal Candidate will have an autonomous approach, confidence, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful Junior HR Advisor will have excellent IT skills, including, Microsoft office packages as well as the ability to constructprofessional and well-presented emails, letters, and documentation. This role would be ideal for someone who thrives in a busy working environment and has the ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and written.Additional Information: Holidays: 27 days plus bank holidays.
