The role is great too! It sits within commercial finance and all of the financial accounting sits with a different team. As the Head of Financial Management, you will lead a talented team responsible for financial planning and analysis, as well as financialsystems. This critical role ensures that the organisation has the necessary data and insights to support operational and strategic decision-making across various departments.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE Leadership:Be an integral part of the Finance Senior Management Team, leading cross-team projects, and fostering a collaborative environment.Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead and communicate financial processes such as month-end, budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term forecasting. Develop and produce essential management information, including management accounts,budget presentations, and ad-hoc analysis.Financial Modelling: Maintain the long-term financial forecast, working collaboratively to ensure accuracy and insight-driven decision-making. Lead scenario planning for new initiatives and overall financial planning.Central Costs and Processes: Oversee financial management and forecasting for income streams and costs. Develop financial strategies for areas like pricing.Reporting & Systems: Lead the Systems team to design, create, and implement reporting solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Work with the Director of Finance to re-engineer the Chart of Accounts and reporting structures, ensuringa robust data and reporting landscape.WHY THEM

ABOUT YOU
  • ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified
  • Able to commute to Loughborough 2-3 days per week
  • Experience in a commercially focused finance/ FP&A role
  • Expertise in working with varied data sources and reporting in complex organisational settings
