Job Description

Role OverviewReporting to the Materials Manager, the Engineering Change Coordinator will be responsible for the implementation of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs). Driving implementation through co-ordination and collaboration with Engineering, Supply chain, Manufacturing,Quality Departments and suppliers.Engineering Change Coordinator Salary, Hours and Benefits

  • Salary, £30,000
  • 7:30am - 4:00pm, 1:00pm finish on Fridays (37.5 hours per week)

  • The Engineering Change Coordinator will have some previous experience in a supply chain or engineering function within an Engineering or Manufacturing Environment.
  • Good communicator with the ability to drive and deliver change through collaboration across multiple business functions.
  • A Basic knowledge of general engineering principles and experience of creating/amending Bills of Materials would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience in the use of Oracle ERP software and Pulse PLM suite or similar systems desirable but not essential.
  • Attention to detail & ability to work methodically and systematically to meet business deadlines.
  • Ability to interpret/manipulate data and perform root cause analysis.
  • Confident in the use of Microsoft applications, including word & excel.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)The Engineering Change Coordinator will have full accountability & responsibility for co-ordinating engineering design changes through relevant business functions in a timely and professional manner. Along with;
  • Arrange & facilitate regular ECR / ECO meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Provide KPIs that measure Engineering Change Orders status from inception to closure.
  • Implement & accurately maintain all item master details as required including item creation, lead times & component codes.
  • Clear communication of change implementation to both internal & external stakeholders.
  • Creation & or revision of manufacturing bills of material. Maintain auditable records of all ECOs, ensuring full compliance with the ECO process.
  • Support supply chain projects, and supply chain reporting & compliance tasks
  • Perform root cause analysis on cycle count/inventory discrepancies and implement appropriate fixes.
