  • Develop both new functionality and enhancements to new and existing projects.
  • Identify, debug, and help resolve issues reported by customers and our QA team.
  • Write robust, maintainable code in line with our coding standards.
  • Develop highly available, secure, scalable solutions using cloud-based technologies.
  • Ensure our product meets accessibility, compatibility, and responsiveness requirements.
  • Work closely with the Development and Product Managers to shape solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Work with the wider development team to build and maintain our products.
Skills & Experience RequiredEssential
  • Minimum 2 years experience with .NET development in C#, preferably for web-based platforms.
  • Minimum 2 years experience writing and maintaining reusable front-end code in TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS/SASS.
  • Development experiencewith Linux, Amazon AWS, andWindows.
  • Experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, Postgres Aurora, ElastiCache, API Gateway.
  • Experience with Issue Tracking softwaresuch asYouTrackorJira.
  • Experience using Git version control.
  • Good standard of written & oral communication skills.
  • Can-do attitudewith a desire to improve our products within afast-paced environment.
  • Able to manage workload, prioritisetasks and participate in the development team meetings.
Desirable
  • Project experience within an agilesoftware developmentenvironment, preferably in the education EdTech industry.
  • Familiaritywith educational productssuch as SIMS,SchoolComms, Teachers2Parents, ParentPay, or similar.
  • Exposure to other development environments such as PHP or Qt Framework.
