Overview of the role:As a member of the Digital Sales team, you will be in a hardworking, fast-paced environment and have a portfolio of products to sell specific to your division. Your role will include finding new business and cross sell opportunities and maintaining existingclient relationships. The role is office based, you will be expected to work variable hours to meet the demands of the role and the requirements of the prospects. You will be someone who can:Achieve a sales target for Software as a Service (SaaS) licences alongside annual consultancy targetsHave a very good understanding of all Access IP and relevant 3rd party productsBe responsible for developing your own demonstration skills and know when to call for assistanceRespond to enquiries quickly and efficiently and provide feedback to cultivate the rest of the teamBuild a multi-level relationship with the customers and nurture every opportunityUnderstand the business plans and expectations of your customersHost meetings at all levels with customersOnce a sale is made, ensure a smooth handover to the projects teamAlways provide the highest level of customer service and technical expertise to customers.You may be required to attend exhibitions, host seminars, present sales ideas or attend meetings in support of other salespeople.Be prepared to organise telephone reference sites or site visits for either your own or other team member prospectsTo work in accordance with the companys policies and procedures. Day-to-day, you will: Achieve sales of specific modules to the value set by your manager of licence sales in the first year which will grow in subsequent yearsEnsure you generate a strong pipeline of opportunities to enable you to reach your sales targetKeep daily activity high through various means calls / emails / social media.Understand the current and future requirements of the client and work to increase the footprint of Access IPHave a track record in providing solutions to the associated marketBe persuasive and compelling in expressing ideas and conceptsAttend Sales training to develop career pathAlways provide the highest level of customer service and technical expertise to customers.You may be required to attend exhibitions, host seminars, present sales ideas or attend meetings in support of other salespeople which may include several nights away from homeBe prepared to organise telephone reference sites or site visits for either your own or other team member prospectsTo work in accordance with the companys policies and procedures.Use social media to drive new contacts and opportunitiesKeep up to date with changes in the market specific to your division As a well-rounded Digital Sales Executive, your Skills and Experiences likely include: Experience in selling software over the phone is preferableA proven track record of pro-actively making telephone calls to prospects or clientsA motivated self-starter who consistently demonstrates an enthusiastic, never give up attitudeAn ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of business processes and practicesAbility and willingness to work independently or as part of a teamExcellent communication skills with an ability to build rapport at all levels of an organisationPersuasive and compelling in expressing ideas and conceptsStrong written communication skills with an attention to detailHave good administration skills: you will be required to keep our Salesforce system up to date with pre-sales information and complete FocalPoint to ensure good sales reportingRemain calm and polite at all times, even under intense pressureExcellent computer skills specifically with Microsoft Office and Salesforce What does Access offer youWe are a growing software company and we deliver on what we say we do!
