Job Description

Were delighted to present an exciting opportunity to join an industry-leading creative agency in Leicestershire, who are looking for a talented and enterprising Creative Media Manager.The successful applicant will manage a small creative team and oversee the day to day operations of the creative media department. The team is responsible for producing high-quality innovative video content, storyboards, scripting, storytelling, filming,editing, and pre-production work to the highest creative standards.Based at a bright, modern workspace in a picturesque rural setting, youll join a friendly team within a business that continually invests in both its staff and new technology to ensure they are providing cutting-edge services that deliver the very bestresults for their clients.Duties and responsibilities:

  • Managing and overseeing creative video pre-production planning and on-site production activities, both for video clients and the company itself.
  • Producing TV programmes to be broadcasted on local TV stations across the UK.
  • Filming celebrities for specialist events.
  • Carrying out professional interviews with celebrities.
  • Producing in-house content for social media channels.
  • Delivering high quality and creative productions, within budget and on schedule.
  • Anticipating and responding to needs and requests from clients and our in-house teams.
  • Supervising additional staff during video production.
  • Identifying best practices for video and evolving daily operations as necessary.
  • Overseeing video collection to ensure all media is archived appropriately and can be readily accessed.
  • Setting KPIs, undertaking appraisals, implementing additional training and identifying more efficient and effective working patterns.
  • Ensuring all departmental systems and procedures are kept up to date, constantly monitored and reviewed
  • Operating video cameras, on location or in the studio, and in production of professional pre-recorded programming.
  • Designing, transporting, setting up and operating production equipment, including audio and lighting equipment, for field and studio productions.
  • Planning the shoot with the creative team and/or client
  • Liaising with all relevant internal departments relating to Creative Videography work.
  • Computer editing video segments on a variety of formats.
  • Inserting closed-captioning, graphics, or other on-screen text into a video.
  • Adding computer graphics and special effects to a video.
  • Completing trouble and preventative maintenance reports on video and audio production equipment.
  • Assisting in the repair and upkeep of studio and production sets and properties.
  • Maintaining an equipment inventory and field and studio production schedules.
Skills and experience required:
  • Extensive relevant experience in a similar role involving end to end creative video production is essential.
  • Previous experience using professional film cameras.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of computerised editing software and equipment including Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Premiere, After Effects, Audition and Photoshop.
  • Drone Licence or proven ability to operate and fly drones.
  • Knowledge or experience of Gimbals.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and a passionate interest in film and video making and editing.
  • Patience and concentration for the perfect shot.
  • Ability to capture snippets of film and be able to edit it into a cohesive creative story.
  • Demonstrates technical acumen to be able to operate, configure, set up and fix video, audio, lighting, or other production equipment.
  • Understanding and extensive knowledge of post-production techniques.
  • Can work in a variety of digital venues with software to edit and finish film work.
  • The ability to listen to others and to work well as part of a team.
  • A high level of self-motivation, commitment, dedication and enthusiasm.
  • Excellent organisational, planning, administrative and time management skills.
  • The ability to work manage several projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Full Driving Licence.
Hours of work
  • Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.30pm with 30 minute lunch break.
Salary and benefits:
  • £26,000 - £32,000
