Job Description

We are now looking for a Commercial Analyst to join our busy team in Loughborough!Salary: CompetitiveMonday - Friday: 9.00am-5.00pm(Some flexibility to start between 8:00am10:00am, however 7.5 hours required in a day)Are you looking to work for an award-winning top 100 company in the Leicestershire areaWould you like to work for a company which helps millions of people worldwide to gain access to quality and affordable healthcareAbout the role:This key role is based in our Loughborough offices and will support the UK Sales Department. You will be responsible for collating, developing and analysing the available datasets to support decision making on both in-portfolio and pipeline products. Theanalyses will include support for decisions on pricing and volume forecasting.Commercial Analyst Duties:

  • Contribute to pricing, reimbursement and market access strategies.
  • Support the sales teams through daily, weekly and monthly reports of sales and volumes against the total market.
  • Deliver insight into sales and pricing strategy, including changes to competitor pricing as assessed from available datasets.
  • As required, support with data analytics and data management to enable decision making. In particular, support the Hospital Tender team with respect to pricing analysis and competitor assessments.
  • Support the retail sales team by daily pricing analytics and recommendations.
  • Support marketing and promotion strategies with pricing comparison tools.
  • Support the launch of new products with pricing and volume recommendations.
Commercial Analyst Requirements:
  • You will have a Degree level or similar qualification in data analytics.
  • Advanced skills in use of Excel and PowerBI required.
  • Demonstrable experience in a pricing management role preferable.
  • Experience in pharmaceuticals sector preferable.
  • Ideally you will be able to demonstrate experience of using IMS/IQVIA and PCA data.
  • Ability to work independently and interdependently.
  • Experience of challenging others appropriately.
