Job Description

With over 26 years of experience, our client specialises in providing high quality domiciliary care to adults of all ages in the comfort of their own. There are several offices throughout the UK, with each office delivering flexible, bespoke and cost-effectivesolutions to care recipients and their families. We care for those who are either privately funded, referred to us by Local Authorities or from the NHS.Your Roles and Responsibilities as a Care Assistant As a Care Assistant, you will ensure Service Users are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing.Primary Responsibilities:

  • Home Help - Prescription collection, light housekeeping, checking food expiration dates, pet care, home maintenance, shopping.
  • Companionship - Encourage conversation, provide reminders for medication, encourage activities such as walking, hobbies, diet monitoring and taking them to the garden centre, trip to the park or even out for lunch.
  • Dementia care - Assist with morning and evening wake-up calls, dressing and bathing, eating, drinking, and medication reminders.
  • Personal Care - Providing medication reminders, bathing, dressing, and grooming - please note that some duties are light personal care and may entail nothing more than being present to reassure rather than actually performing personal care.
