* CAD Technician* Loughborough* Up to £35,000 + 10% bonusCAD Technician Loughborough Up to £35,000 + 10% bonus CAD Technician Fourblue are working with an Independent Connection Provider (ICP) who are primarily involved with the construction of energy generation assets that include Large-Scale Solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems.Working as part of a team to complete 2D and 3D renders of all layouts drawings the business generates LV up to and including 132kV. All required support, familiarisation and on the job, training will be provided, although experience working with a DNO wouldbe desirable.You will be part of an exciting growing team, reporting into the office 5 days a week. Examples of scope of design for the CAD Technician role:* DNO primary compound layout and elevations* DNO & customer Cable route design* DNO cable easement and wayleave* Customer & DNO access route* DNO substation General arrangement* DNO above ground earthing package* Customer primary layout and elevations (including full customer layout scope)* Customer cable easement and wayleave (land ownership boundary)* Customer substation General arrangement* Customer above ground earthing package* DNO CDM layout design* Autocad 2D and 3D products* A sound knowledge of engineering design principles* A knowledge of material properties* An understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methodsEssential Criteria:* AutoCAD proficiency* Experience working with an Independent Connection Provider (ICP) or renewable energy companyIf you are interested in the above role, please send over your C.V and we will get in touch.
