An opportunity has arisen for within our established Charnwood Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) for a Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker (full-time - 37.5 hours) in the Charnwood Community Mental Health Team.We require an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Healthcare Support Worker, with an NVQ level 3 in a relevant subject, to join us. The team provides a caring service to people over the age of 65 years who have complex organic and functional mental health needs, and younger people under the age of 65 with early onset dementia.Our specialist services have a locality focus within outpatients, CMHTs, Intensive services and Inpatients, adopting a multi-disciplinary team approach.You would need to demonstrate flexibility and a commitment to high standards of patient care. Applicants should have excellent communication skills with clients, carers, multidisciplinary colleagues and other professionalsThe Team has close partnerships with Social Services, the voluntary sector and the Primary Care Trust.We have a strong commitment to supervision and personal development reviews, from which you will benefit.A full driving licence is essential and a car-leasing scheme is in operation.The post is based at Loughborough Hospital and covers the Charnwood area of the County.For further information please contact Lisa Bonser Team Lead
