Job Description

Apprenticeship Programme ManagerSalary: £50,000-£60,000Location: LoughboroughScania GB have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about building our future workforce. We are seeking an experienced Apprentice Programme Manager.As an Apprentice Programme Manager, you will be responsible for the management of our commercial and technical apprenticeships across the Scania GB organisation. This position will involve setting up a robust internal structure and working alongside externalpartners to manage the end-to-end apprenticeship delivery.This position may involve travel around the UK to visit our workshops and our Support Centre in Milton Keynes. Our national learning academy is based in Loughborough so this would be the focal point of the role.Responsibilities:

  • Good knowledge of how apprenticeship scheme funding works
  • Work closely with our appointed Apprentice Learning provider and the UK dealer network to promote and develop Apprentice training
  • Responsibility for establishing, maintaining, delivering, and administering all processes, tools, and resources to successfully enable the company to provide apprenticeships and associated qualifications
  • Be able to effectively build and maintain relationships internally and externally
  • Good working knowledge of different qualification types (frameworks and standards), across England, Scotland, and Wales
  • Provide advice and guidance to colleagues regarding apprenticeship schemes
  • Complete all official paperwork to an auditable level
  • Identify areas of improvement and best practice and implement change accordingly
  • Conduct regular performance management reviews based on learner progression and experience
  • Monitor retention rates of learners, acting in line with the retention strategy where learners are identified as at risk of leaving programme
