Job Description

Pertemps are delighted to be supporting our client who is looking for driven Accounts and HR office assistant to join their small team based in Loughborough. Do you want to be part of family culture that have a real focus on their workforce If so, thenthis is the right business for you.Hybrid opportunityBased in the office 3 x days per week and working remote the other two days.Hours 8.30am4.30pm Monday to FridayExcellent annual salary of £28,743 per annumMain duties: Accounting: Management of the accounts payables:

  • Input of invoices
  • Make BACS/CHAPS payments
Management of the accounts receivables:
  • Integration of sales invoices into the accounting system
  • Sending to the customers
  • Customer reminders (phone calls, emails)
  • Dealing with Customer Queries regarding Invoices/Payments
  • Liaising with the department based in France
Bank accounts:
  • Cash the bank checks received/Process BACS PAYM
  • Make payments (suppliers, expenses claims, social costs)
  • Booking of bank entries into the accounting system
General accounting:
  • Input of expenses claims
  • Input of intercompany entries (payments, interests)
  • Preparation of monthly reporting (accruals, prepaid costs)
  • Assisting in the preparation of Year end
  • Quarterly VAT declaration & payments
  • Credit Checking
  • Petty CashGBP & EUR
  • Monthly compilation of payroll variable elements (overtimes, allowances, paid leave)
HR Assistant:
  • HR Filing and record keeping including Induction, Holiday, Training Sickness, Equipment/Asset lists, Data protection, New Employees, Leavers, P60s, P45s etc
Office Management
  • Boiler servicing
  • Company Insurance
  • Photocopier maintenance/readings
  • UtilitiesWater/Gas/Electricity
  • Office Repairs
  • Office Alarms Maintenance and Testing
  • Management of other Office requirements
  • PurchasingTools/Equipment, Stock/Stationery
Supplier Management
  • Uniform management/purchasing
  • Social Activities (Christmas Meal, Visitors etc)
  • Travel ArrangementsUK and overseas.
