Its this obsession that drives us to work closely across sectors to understand the digital needs of our customers - from the Hospitality sector,to the Health, Support & Care sector, to Not for Profits to Construction, and many more.Were passionate about helping our customers stay one step ahead of the challenges facing their industry and business, currently helping over 60,000 customers to have the freedom to do more.Were looking for a dedicated and personable Business Development Manager to grow our footprint through new logo growth within the Non for profit industry including within Local Authorities through an effective combination of identifying new sales leads, pitchingour class-leading solutions and building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing Access customers.The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a relentless drive for sales growth.Apply today and help us build meaningful, long-lasting relationships that move our business forward and excite our customers.About you:You will be someone who can:· Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, customers, partnerships or new products and services· Create effective strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities· Develop effective relationships with new customers and prospects to gauge their needs and develop proposals to address those needs and maximise new business sales opportunities.· Acquire a sound knowledge of Access products & services, the competitive landscape and positioning, to be able to discuss and demonstrate the unique value proposition for our Software Solutions offering and how it aligns to the needs of the customer and marketplace,including but not limited to through public procurement channels.· Consistently hit and exceed pre-determined new business sales growth targets, in line with company growth objectives.· Develop and implement a prospecting strategy ensuring prospect contact and conversion KPIs are achieved/exceeded.· Employs a range of skills & resources in the development of qualified new business sales opportunities.Day-to-day, you will:· Work with Marketing, Product Managers and Account Sales to lead on new business demand generation initiatives focusing on pre-engagement with prospective clients.· Working with Field, Internal and Pre-Sales to ensure demos, presentations, proposals and bids are of a consistent, high quality, and are focused on real customer needs.· To work with customer groups and key external influencers to understand their current and future challenges and priorities, and identify how our products / services can address them in a compelling way· Building a clear understanding of the capabilities of each product / service offering.· Be an over-achiever· Be targeted to sell a new business portfolio of products/services.· Use prospect databases to generate new business opportunities.· Love every marketing lead.· Move opportunities effectively and efficiently though the sales cycle in line with a fast SaaS business.· Communication in a clear and concise manner.· Effectively build and manage a pipeline of prospect clients.· Effectively use Salesforce.com to ensure activity records are kept up to date with any changes to personnel or additional contacts.· Ensure your sales pipeline is kept up to date for accurate and timely forecasting.· Deliver solution demonstrations with a confident and positive approach, ensuring value and insight are accurately referenced throughout.· Work to tight organisational and forecasting requirements.· Professionally represent our company, both face to face and in all contact (telephone/email/social media etc.)· Attend exhibitions, host seminars, present sales ideas or attend meetings in support of other salespeople which may include time away from home· Travel as required.As a well-rounded sales professional, your Skills and Experiences likely include:· An insatiable hunger to over-achieve· GCSE A-C in Maths and English.· Previous experience in a B2B sales role.· Previous new business sales experience.· Sector specific sales experience.· Ability to work on your own initiative and be self-motivated· Excellent time management skills.· Ability to work as part of a small team.· Ability to prioritise a demanding workload.· Excellent communication skills, telephone, email and written.· Attention to detail.· Act with integrity, loyalty and honesty.· Develop positive relationships, co-operation with, and support for colleagues and clients.· Demonstrate a positive approach.· Show a commitment to personal development and lifelong learning.
