To achieve this, we employ exceptional people who are engaged and rewarded for the value they bring to the organisation and who are able to demonstrate our leading behaviours – Be bold in what you do, be flexible and agile, and make a positive difference.We are currently looking to recruit a Compliance Manager in our North/ Midlands region, who will have responsibility for supporting the delivery of the Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental (QSHE) Strategy for SIG UK and ensuring relevant objectives and targets are set and provide professional support and advice to operational management on QSHE matters, whilst developing sound working relationships with key stakeholders across the branch and hub network.We offer a great opportunity to build your career in a market leading business, along with a competitive salary and excellent benefits that include a car, a bonus scheme, 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, a great pension, life insurance and a share save scheme.What does the role involveAs Compliance Manager, you will implement the SIG UK, QSHE strategy, across all Offices, branches and hubs, delivering high standards in the implementation of QSHE policies, processes and practices as well as delivering the QSHE audit plan for your region. You will coordinate / lead investigations and escalations of all incidents, and client issues as well as undertake programmed visits, including audits and inspections of operational sites as per QSHE support plans which include Transport - O License and FORS, Operations - Data Protection and Security, Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality.In addition, you will ensure external 3rd party audits are supported, and findings implemented and produce QSHE Regional monthly management reports and provide professional and accurate advice to the contracts as appropriate. Also support in ensuring all RIDDOR reportable accidents are fully investigated and root cause(s) identified along with the appropriate remedial actions.The successful candidate will require:• Proven experience working in an HS&E role within a Manufacturing / Warehousing / Logistics organisation, Including facilities management and Statutory compliance• Ability to demonstrate continuing professional development• Experience and knowledge in incident investigation and root causal analysis.• Evidence of practical audit/inspection experience• Comprehensive understanding of UK HSE legislative requirements• NEBOH Diploma or equivalent minimumAbout us…SIG Plc. is a leading supplier of specialist building materials to trade customers across Europe with strong positions in its core markets as a specialist distributor of insulation and interiors products and as a merchant of roofing and exteriors products.
