Job Description

Central employment has a great opportunity to work with a UK Leading channel-focused manufacturer, supplying companies throughout the architectural hardware industry, Working within the sales department as a Sales administrator.We are looking for a qualified Sales administrator to join the sales team and help achieve company goals.As Sales Administrator you have the responsibility of providing support for sales representatives and will serve as a point of contact for customers with queries This involves dealing with customer requests, providing quotations, and information such asstock availability, delivery dates and prices.The ideal candidate is goal-oriented, has a deep knowledge of customer service best practices, exceptional organizational skills and draws energy from being part of a team.Main Duties:

  • Dealing with customers
  • Answering calls
  • Chasing orders
  • Checking order status
  • Placing orders on the system (using MS Navision)
  • Filing
  • Process orders via email or phone
  • Check data accuracy in orders and invoices
  • Contact clients to obtain missing information or answer queries
  • Liaise with the Logistics department to ensure timely deliveries
  • Maintain and update sales and customer records
  • Develop monthly sales reports
  • Communicate important feedback from customers internally
  • Stay up-to-date with new products and features
The Person:
  • Good telephone manner
  • IT literate
  • Well organised
  • Able to learn
  • Proven work experience as a Sales administrator or Sales support agent
  • Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • A team player with high level of dedication
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines
