Job Description

Our client is a major, well known British luxury manufacturer of quality interiors and furnishings, with high end outlets throughout the UK and overseas.They have made luxurious upholstery in Nottinghamshire for over 80 years. They provide handmade furniture created by highly skilled craftspeople, using the best materials and offering the highest levels of customer service.They are proud of their history and heritage, but are also a modern, forward thinking and successful company, employing 250+ people.We are delighted to be working with them to find a key individual to act as Trainee Showroom Consultant for their successful showroom based in Long Eaton - this individual will be instrumental in showcasing and presenting their brand.Purpose of roleYou will be trained to be solely responsible for the day to day running of the Showroom, ensuring that the Showroom is presented to an excellent standard the highest levels of Customer Service are given at all times.Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure that the Showroom and all displays are neat and tidy at all times.
  • Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers and responding to customer inquiries.
  • Maintain up to date product knowledge to assist customers with product, retail and pricing information.
  • Provide statistics / reports of relevant feedback following customer visits.
  • Arrange appointments with customers and ensure records are maintained and relevant follow up information is passed to Area Sales Managers, Agents and Retailers.
  • Liaise with Area Sales Managers and the Sales Office regarding any issue or queries raised.
  • Represent the Company at key shows and exhibitions
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation for key shows and exhibitions.
  • Maintain health and safety procedures within the showroom.
You will need to be confident, smartly presented, able to use Microsoft Word and Excel and have an interested in soft furnishings, textiles or interiorsThis vacancy is being advertised by New Resource Group; the services of New Resource Group are that of an Employment Agency
