Job Description

Role: Internal Sales ExecutiveLocation: NottinghamType: Full time, permanentSalary: £18k - £25k DOEThe Company:Our client has grown for over 40 years into an established quality technical apparel brand. Distributing around the world to 37 countries and more recently through a global Ecommerce platform. They are a leading brand within its sector and has an excellent reputation for quality and customer service.Purpose:Working as part of the UK Customer Support team, to service wholesale accounts, this internal role will work closely with the external UK commercial team. Through building effective customer relationships, both internally and externally; this role will be responsiblefor driving increasing sales and supporting smaller accounts via phone and through promotion of the brands B2B platform. Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to an agreed list of current and new customers in order to sell products.
  • Work with the Commercial Director to implement promotional activity and communication of key dates throughout the year.
  • Advise customers regarding forthcoming promotions, products and service developments.
  • Manage the UK Customer database and ensure this is updated with correct detail.
  • Creating and effectively managing a contact schedule
  • Identify and maximise sales opportunities from customers by analysing their purchasing history, identifying missing lines and recommending/upselling new products.
  • Accurately and efficiently enter orders and customer information into internal systems and in line with customer credit status of accounts.
  • Follow agreed procedures ensuring standards and documentation exist for review whenever necessary.
  • Develop detailed knowledge and understanding of customer accounts, products and services.
  • Investigate and solve customer problems, maintaining a positive customer experience in the event of operational or service breakdown, working closely with the Customer Support team to resolve any issues.
  • Feedback any issues or customer concerns to Customer Operations Manager and Commercial Director with a view to improving customer related processes and policies.
Needs to Have:
  • Experience in a similar customer facing or telesales role
  • Analytical approach to data
  • IT literate with good working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload
  • Integrity and professionalism

Experience:
