Job Description

Head of Sales & Customer Service - Leisure / Luxury Sales | c. 55 - 60K + bonus | East Midlands | Hybrid (2 days in the office)Gleeson Recruitment Group are partnering with a well-known leisure and luxury sales organisation to recruit a Head of Sales and Customer Service.Are you a dynamic and strategic leader with high level commercial acumen Our client, a leader in the marine industry, is seeking a Head of Sales and Customer Service to join the team. Reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Director, this role is crucialfor driving the success of their brand and achieving growth targets.More about the role:Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Director and Head of Commercial Finance to build robust annual sales budgets aligned with long-term growth goals.
  • Develop and execute the overall sales strategy, fostering effective collaboration with the Operations team and Brand Marketing Manager.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats.
Delivery of Annual Sales Budget:
  • Drive sales through multiple revenue streams utilising effective enquiry management and conversion processes.
  • Establish clear conversion KPIs reporting to Exec and Board.
  • Champion a culture of sales excellence across the business.
Sales Reporting and Analytics:
  • Manage the Customer Service team and collaborate with the Commercial Finance team to create robust sales reports.
  • Provide analytics and recommendations to the Sales & Marketing Director and Exec team to improve delivery against business goals.
Supplier Management:
  • Lead relationships with external suppliers.
  • Ensure best commercial terms and supply arrangements.
  • Promote positive collaborations with external suppliers across the network.
Customer Service Management:
  • Work closely with the Operations team to drive best-in-class customer service management.
  • Establish and communicate customer service response times and quality standards.
  • Ensure effective onboarding processes for new customers.
Product and Promotional Development:
  • Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Director to review product range and price points.
  • Provide input on promotional recommendations for tactical sales conversion needs.
Leadership and Team Management:
  • Lead, inspire, and motivate the sales team to achieve and surpass sales targets.
  • Foster a positive and high-performance culture within the team.
  • Act as a coach and mentor, conducting regular performance reviews and implementing development plans.
