Job Description

Head Office - Credit ControllerSalary: £23,000 pa - (£26,000 OTE)Based at: Long EatonHours of work: 08.30 - 17.00 Monday to FridayJob purpose summary:

  • Regularly contact debtors on allocated ledgers to ensure that payment is received promptly.
  • Maintain own ledger to include
  • Chasing customers for overdue payments by telephone letter and email.
  • Dealing with any queries that arise whether by telephone post or email.
  • Be proactive in monitoring credit limits. Ensuring communication with Manager, Management, Salesman, and Depot.
Required skills:
  • Proactive and driven worker who is able to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Previous exposure to sales ledger/credit control
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Detail oriented with excellent organisational skills
  • Competent IT Skills - specifically Excel and Word
