Disadvantaged children in year 11 risk going over a cliff edge unless they have the right support in place. You will be setting up a brand new contract from scratch to ensure that they have this support.The children might have an education support plan, or could be a young carer or maybe at risk of being excluded from school and later becoming NEET. This programme delivers support in schools to year 11 students who will receive a coach that provides pastoral support to post 16 and beyond to help them develop as young people and progress into further education and training, with a view to supporting 460 young people by July 2023 who would have had 15 months’ worth of direct one to one support.As the new Mobilisation Manager, you will be responsible for manging and setting up the contract (they are a prime in West London, and subcontractor in Central). You will also reach out to schools to develop relationships (they already have existing relationships with most of the London school networks) and will help build a team from 2 coaches, to 10 by January.You don’t need to be a youth specialist (this is a bonus though). But you must have contract management experience for similar type of projects (i.e. employment support / education etc) and might well have worked on a contract like national careers service, NEETs, or a BBO / Work and Health type contract from the angle of mobilising / contract management.Please apply via this Feel free to call the office and ask for James if you would like to speak further (number on the Red 5 People website).
