A leading digital sports content company is looking for a Workflow SupportEngineer to join their London team on a permanent basis. This role will be part of their dynamic team responsible for developing and maintaining post production workflow systems, you will define all post production file based video and audio workflows from ingest right through to global distribution.Working collaboratively alongside global engineering teams, you will operate in a 24/7 environment to support their dedicated sports streaming platform ensuring technical issues are resolved and/or escalated appropriately. In addition, you will working closely with the projects team to assist with platform upgrades and testing.This role would suit a Post Production Engineer or Transcode Specialist with excellent knowledge of transcode and file based distribution systems including Vantage, Amberfin, Content Agent and Aspera. Good knowledge of Media Asset Management (MAM) systems is also beneficial, specifically Dalet along with Non-linear editing systems including Adobe CC, Avid Interplay and Media Composer. Whilst not essential, experience in or a passion to learn the following would also be highly advantageous; scripting, Linux OS, IP transport streams and cloud workflows.This is an excellent opportunity to work with an industry leader and assist in the delivery of major projects.
