WOMENSWEAR AND EMBROIDERY DESIGNER ? FREELANCE:Annie is passionate about working with smaller, upcoming brands and tries to ensure the brands she houses have a low carbon footprint, with many of the brands she stocks being handmade. In February 2023, Annie?s Ibiza launched our first collection at LondonFashion Week, the collection is now sold exclusively in our stores and online. Working directly with the ceative director, your role will entail the below:The Role:- Create mood and inspiration boards for Creative Director to showcase newtrends, inspirations, materials, and silhouettes.- Sketch and develop design ideas from concept to final presentation.- Producing clear and detailed technical sketches/CADs- Producing clear and detailed technical pack for factories- Communicating technical and creative ideas to the Embellishments Factories- Helping sourcing materials and suppliers- Preparing specs and artwork for all embroidered styles.- Being in communication with the factories to ensure the quality and the deadlinesare met.- Attend regular fittings and help with the fit comments.- Update of the design overview.- 2/3 days per week / Hybrid (partially WFH/ partially at the studio)Your Talent:- Technical and Research skills- Excellent drawing skills with an eye for Embroidery and design.- Sample making experience- Strong understanding of the brand ethos and ethical values- Ability to understand creative direction and concept- Excellent organisation with an ability to manage a changing workload effectively tomeet weekly deadlines- Able to use initiative- Knowledge of fashion with an interesting eye and a good ability to research fashiononline, with an acute awareness of luxury fashion- Ability to read and understand how patterns are put together as well as making theplacements of embroidery designs onto computerised paper patterns.-Supporting the creative process from start to finish with the delivery of collections.- Understanding the brands core values and aesthetic identity.Essentials- Experience with creating artworks for embroidery.- Please share your portfolio.
