Our work addresses the most complex business and policy issues facing our clients, whether its navigating competition and commercial disputes; shaping efficient and competitivemarkets; providing macroeconomic forecasts; or appraising, framing and delivering big investments.ProgrammeDuring this three-day paid programme youll get an insight into what a career at PwC could look like. Youll virtually meet mentors and buddies whollrepresent the variety of opportunities available across PwC. Youll meet some of our Female colleagues to hear about their own personal career journeys, as well as from some of our networks focussed on Inclusion and Diversity Diversity and Inclusion. Throughinteractive sessions the programme will help you to develop confidence in a business setting and encourage you to bring your whole self to the workplace. At PwC, we nurture an environment where our people can be the best they can be.Our Women in Business programmewill be a 3-day paid programme which will be run from the 28th to 30th June. You will need to be in the UK to complete this programme.What youll doAs a graduate economist youll be able to work across nine key areas, including regulatory economics, impactassessment, macroeconomics, pricing economics, behavioural economics, financial economics, econometric modelling,competition economics and sport economics.Youll typically find yourself in teams anywhere from 2 to 15 or more people, often with PwC teams fromother parts of consulting, lines of service, and even other countries. Youll undertake cutting-edge economic analysis whilst engaging with executives from the worlds top organisations, learning how to present and communicate your findings with impact. Youwill also have the opportunity to work on public thought leadership pieces that focus on topics as diverse as quantifying the impact of increasing female participation in the workforce to assessing the possible future role of drones on the UK economy. Ourwork is regularly featured in national newspapers and on the news.Most of your work will be London based, largely at the More London office, but occasionally also at client offices. There may also be opportunity for travel, both within the UK and internationally.Wellmonitor your development so you know how youre doing. Throughout your internship or graduate programme youll be given guidance and support to help you be ready for the next step in your career.What youll needYoull need to have, or be on course for, a 2.1degree or above in any subject.
