Job Description

Casualty Broker (Wholesale) - London and Lloyds MarketsLocation: London (Hybrid)Package: £NegotiableAs Lonmar continue to grow their presence across multiple lines were looking to add a Casualty Broker to the team to deal with both UK/European business and depending on experience US Cases.As a team the Casualty team are going from strength to strength and manage a range of risks on behalf of their clients across a wide range of specialisms, including Construction, Rail, Waste Transfer and Demolition risks to name a few.On a day to day basis youll be:

  • Placing a variety of wholesale risks into the Lloyds and London Market
  • Building strong working relationships with clients
  • Actively engaging and negotiating with underwriters
  • Working as part of a team and assisting on technical cases as required
  • Assisting with existing and developing new relationships with clients
  • Dealing with both New cases and existing ones, whilst providing a high level of service
  • Assisting with the training and development of other staff

  • Youll have a wide array of hands on knowledge of the casualty market and be able to identify who you need to talk to depending on the case
  • Able to identify the best market for a risk with exposure to Combined Liability, EOL, CAR
  • Comfortable working both individually and as part of a fast based team
  • Committed to delivering high levels of service to both new and existing clients
  • Prior experience in a wholesale broking role is highly desirable
  • Working Knowledge of PPL and Acturis is highly beneficial
