About the roleOur Banking Conduct team works with global banks and capital market firms on a range of regulatory and business change programmes. We bring expertise in risk and regulation, and work with our clients to design and implement change to their operating models,governance, processes and controls. Most recently, our projects have included Brexit response, LIBOR transformation, and governance and controls remediation. Our teams are self-starting, agile and thrive on new and diverse challenges. We work across Front Office, Risk Management, Operations and Finance supporting critical business change initiatives and remediation programmes. We operate globally, working with theglobal PwC network to deliver large scale change. You will work across a range of projects to build a broad range of expertise and be passionate about delivering value and insights to your clients. As you progress, youll build your client relationship network and thrive on taking on new challenges in unfamiliarsituations.We Responsibilities

  • Proactively assist in the delivery of business change and conduct risk transformation projects, which may include managing several concurrent client programmes, reporting progress to Senior Managers and above.
  • Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges, help firms to rethink their approach to risk and control and work with our clients to create robust and sustainable change.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients and help identify opportunities to broaden relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Keep up to date with significant economic challenges and contribute to the development of your teams technical acumen.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working within financial services risk and control projects either from a consulting, banking or regulatory background.
  • Experience working with key stakeholders, developing working relationships and providing insightful management information.
  • Commercial awareness, sound reporting skills and the ability to work under your own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Good attention to detail plus analysis and presentation skills (Excel Powerpoint)
  • The ability to work under pressure and deal with ambiguity.
  • Relevant qualifications e.g. ACA, CFA are ideal but not essential.
