Job Description

Website Technical Specialist - £40,000 - Remote (1 day a week in London)Over the years, our client has accumulated a first-class reputation within the retail industry by providing consumers across the globe with top quality products. With innovation and the customer at the forefront of everything they do, they are now looking to hire a new Digital Marketing and Website Specialist to really drive things forward.As part of the Global Digital Team, you will work closely with the Global Web Manager to ensure the website is as slick as possible, and partner with the digital marketing agency to ensure SEO and PPC best practices are fully integrated.This is a wonderful opportunity to work with all of the resources and support of a huge business, but in a small, close-knit team!In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Providing web support to the local markets, fixing bugs, and managing change requests.
  • Drive SEO ensuring the best search results and growing organic traffic.
  • Lead the development of web content for the new product launches and global events.
  • Conduct content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information.
  • Ensure website quality and efficiency by conducting regular test plans.
  • Collaborate with all staff and management to ensure that the website aligns with brand strategy and meets the organization’s standards.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and monitor competitor websites.
  • Manage external agencies that deliver digital marketing, website and analytics support
  • About you:
  • At least 2 years of work experience managing websites and overseeing digital marketing.
  • Expert knowledge of CMS Magnolia
  • Ability to troubleshoot website issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Great understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) ideally PPC
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent content creation and writing skills.
  • Highly proficient in HTML, XHTML, CSS design, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, Access, mySQL and JavaScript.
