Job Description

POSITION The Global Marketing Team partners with client-facing colleagues to drive marketing efforts that communicate the firms investment capabilities, culture, and brand. We plan and execute marketing programs to position the firms capabilities, culture and brand in the context of our clients business challenges, with the objective of retaining clients and growing our business. The Website Product Owner is an exciting and demanding new global role within the digital marketing team. Our clients and prospects are our top focus as a firm, and we are at the beginning of our journey to use personas, journeys, SEO, analytics and insights, to personalize, measure and optimize our client and prospect experiences. The ideal candidate will help us enhance our global web platform so that clients and prospects can easily engage with us anywhere in the world. We are a lean team, and the role will be partnered with a leader on our technology team. We are looking for a candidate who is hands on and has used Adobe Experience Manager to create and update global web experiences. We rely heavily on our vendors and partners for expertise and execution capabilities. We will need an individual who is able to: Publish and regularly update the roadmap for the web platform to align with global and regional marketing plans and priorities. Partner with colleagues and vendors to translate those requirements into designs, journeys, measurement plans, etc., capture them as stories, and keep our backlog groomed and prioritized. Dive deep into the marketing technology when needed, to understand what possible across the stack, what are the gaps, and to collaborate with other subject matter experts on solutions. Work in an agile model with cross-functional teams (internal and external) to assign stories, provide prioritization and to manage the delivery of outcomes to plan and budget. Work across our digital, content and operations functions to establish and document a consistent operating model to update and maintain these web experiences. Think through the operational aspects of an outcome with the digital marketing and marketing operations team to identify who will update it with new content or data, how will they do that, and how we will measure or optimize it. We collaborate daily with our marketing colleagues around the globe. Our internal goal is to make it as easy as possible for our marketing colleagues to leverage the platform to achieve their business and marketing outcomes. As the platform owner, you will need to spend time evangelizing what they platform can do and how they can best use it. Primary responsibilities: Maintain and update the web product roadmap and align with global and regional marketing priorities. Participate in agile ceremonies to plan Program Increments, prioritize and assign stories, identify dependencies and resolve issues. Collaborate with colleagues to capture requirements for new experiences, functional enhancements, or integrations with other platforms. Work with our operational colleagues to document and update processes to publish content, data or documents (including translation and transcreation of content), create or update experiences, personalize experiences, deploy enhancements, launch new sites, measure and optimize experiences, etc. Manage governance forums to coordinate on management of website functionality, templates, modules, accessibility standards, technical SEO, analytics, cookie management and privacy, site performance, CDN and caching strategies, automated testing and monitoring, etc. Manage cross platform integrations (CMS, DAM, workflow, email & marketing automation, social, analytics, translation, syndication, CRM, authentication, paid media, data platforms, etc.) Collaborate with business colleagues and our analytics team to identify review key metrics, identify insights and to establish optimization processes. Work across the client platform to align website programs with servicing capabilities (service portal) and other client facing digital initiatives. Requirements Deep web CMS expertise (Adobe Experience Manager) coupled with investment management experience (institutional, intermediary, wealth), or financial services experience. Experience with different digital marketing channels - web, email, search, social, syndication, digital events and digital advertising. Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Assets and related technologies, Email Automation (Marketo, Marketing Cloud), Technical SEO, Accessibility and Mobile, Web Analytics (Google Analytics) Salesforce CRM, JIRA, personalization and workflow platforms. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal, communication and project management skills.
